1. Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all bookings, services, and transactions made with WEDDFLIX EVENT LLP, including services under Weddflix Business Events and Weddflix Social Events.

By confirming a booking, the client agrees to abide by this policy in full.

3. Booking, Payments & Confirmation

3.1 Advance Payment (Non-Refundable Unless Specified)

• A mandatory advance of 35% to 50% (depending on project size/venue/vendor requirements) is required to confirm any service.
• The advance is used for preliminary planning, vendor blocking, manpower allocation, venue pre-booking, and design/pre-production work.

3.2 Payment Schedule

• 50% advance at the time of booking
• 40% payable 10–15 days before the event date
• 10% payable on event day before commencement
• Destination weddings/MICE/exhibitions may require 70% advance due to travel and vendor commitments.

3.3 Final Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the advance and issuance of an official confirmation email/receipt.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Client

If the client cancels the event for ANY reason (personal, logistical, financial, venue issues, etc.), the following rules apply:

• More than 60 days before the event – 35% of total event cost is charged as cancellation fee.
• 30–60 days before the event – 60% of total event cost will be charged.
• 15–30 days before the event – 80% of the total event cost will be charged.
• Within 0–15 days of the event – 100% of the total event cost is non-refundable.

5. Non-Refundable Items (Strict Conditions)

5.1 Vendor Blocking Charges

• Venue booking advances
• Artist/celebrity/entertainer fees
• Catering vendor advance
• Decor production materials
• Photography/vendor blocking fees
• Travel & hotel bookings (domestic or international)

5.2 Custom Production Work

Any fabrication, printing, branding, set design, decor production, destination logistics, or custom items already in progress are 100% chargeable.

5.3 Government Taxes & Processing Fees

All GST, transaction fees, and payment gateway charges are non-refundable.

6. Event Postponement / Rescheduling Policy

6.1 Client-Requested Reschedule

• Rescheduling is allowed one time (subject to vendor availability) if requested at least 45 days before the event.
• Rescheduling within 0–45 days will attract 30%–50% additional charges.
• New date must be within 6 months of original date.
• No guarantee on original vendors/venue availability.

6.2 International Destination Weddings

• Airline fare differences
• Hotel re-booking charges
• Visa impacts
• Vendor re-confirmation charges

7. Cancellation by WEDDFLIX EVENT LLP

• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• War, strikes, lockdowns
• Sudden unavailability of key vendors

8. Refund Processing

8.1 Refund Timeline

• Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 10–21 working days
• Refund mode: Bank Transfer / UPI / Original payment method

9. No-Show Policy

No refund or compensation shall be offered for no-shows.

10. Liability Limitations

WEDDFLIX EVENT LLP shall not be liable for external vendor losses, venue mismanagement, natural calamities, delays, or personal belongings.

11. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate event details
• Get all permissions/licensing
• Ensure timely payments
• Cooperate with our event team

12. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of New Delhi courts only under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
